Whole 30? Could Be Whole 300. Weighing the Costs.

We've been a little floored at how much we're spending on groceries - over $500 our first week; but there's a twist: we're not ordering in, we're not taking out, and we're not dining out.

In a typical week we dine out twice, order in twice, and cook three times. The meals ordered in are $100 apiece, the dining out is at least that, and the cooked meals amount to about $200. In the end, it seems we're spending about the same amount, if not less.

One of us is eating less (Mama), and cutting alcohol has absolutely cut costs.
